"X-pedition" to KP44HE, Quatrandids 2003 03-04.1.2003

OH8K on the air from the new home grid, KP44HE, first time on 144MHz MS
OH8K was testing equipment and antennas during Quadrantids 3rd-4th Jan 2003. The weather was cold, varying between - 22 --- -33 C, so it was not the best time for antennawork, hi hi. We tested also a new setup for FSK 441, it seems to work OK, but there were on the antennas a thick layer of white frost and snow, SWR was over 3 so we could not use the linear amp, only 50W from the TX. We got anyway a few QSOs on 2m and 6m bands via MS, the logs are below and later there will be some fotos of the winter scenery in KP44HE. Operators: OH6JW and OH8MSM.
