Puuma, Joanie, Pippuri, Kiwi, Saga, Haiku on our last day in Sweden in July

Back from holiday with lots of memories and photos from Sweden's various whippet related activities. For those who were unable to attend the international whippet congress, there is an excellent summary of the main subjects on Patience Renzulli's blog and also on Henrik Härling's blog.

There are also photos from the Gala Match Show on this site, which the Swedish Whippet Club arranged and invited the top winning whippets from Nordic countries. We were very honoured to attend the gala with Pippuri, Saga and Kiwi.

Sani

Multi-talented Sani, Ch. Softouch Blazing Sun, competed at the Derby08 lure-coursing trial and was excellently placed 7th out of 30!! Congratulations Sani and Liisa!

Loimu has sired a beautiful litter in kennel Nasusa.

Puppies - We are planning a litter out of Joanie in spring 2009 - male not yet decided.

Summer holiday - Kesäloma

It is time to give a break to our webmaster so there will be no updates until later this summer. But, photos will be added to the gallery every now and then. Have a warm and sunny summer!

Softouch Finders Keepers "Loimu", at his first lure-coursing trial won a 4th place and his first 10 points toward his Field Championship!

Softouch Blazing Sun "Sani", won an agility competition of 30 dogs last weekend in Ojanko!

Softouch Finders Keepers travelled to the American Whippet Club National Specialty in Oregon, USA, and made the final cut of seven males in the big open class. Thank you Carla for this lovely photo of Loimu.
