Welcome to Frostbite Kennel’s
website!
The pack of ”Frostbites”
consists of six members: five American Bulldogs and their
“human leader”. Throughout the years - some decades,
actually - I’ve gained experience of several dogs and
different breeds, among which e.g. Belgian Shepherd, German
Shepherd, Staffordshire Bull Terrier and English springer
spaniels that my mother use to breed.. When the first American
Bulldog came to me in 2001, it became soon quite clear that
American Bulldogs were here to stay. Since that the amount of
dogs has increased to current five and so far there have been
six carefully planned Frostbite litters
We started breeding American Bulldogs in 2004 when the first litter was born. Our kennel is registered in NKC, ABRA and EABC, and at the moment we register our puppies to
NKC.
Our dogs are an important part of our everyday life; we walk in the nearby forests and fields, practice obedience and train weight pulling. In weight pulling we have achieved rather good results with some of the dogs. Our own weight pulling track makes it possible to train regularly, as long as we have the time for it. We have also arranged training for others who are interested in this sport.
We co-operate closely with other breeders and dog owners in Finland and other countries. We have also been active in several breed associations during the years. Sakke has an EABC Show Judge license as well as an APA-
and Irondog Weigh Pulling Judge license. In addition he has been involved in establishing American Bulldog Club Finland and Finnish Weight Pulling Association and used to be a President / Vice President in both.
We breed American Bulldogs in a rather small scale; litters are planned and the dogs used for breeding are selected carefully.
You can find our breeding principles here.
We sell puppies only to good, knowledgeable and active homes. We wish to stay in touch with the puppies’ new owners and are willing to help and give advice with anything that they might come across.
If you are interested in our upcoming litters or the breed in general, don’t hesitate to
contact us! You are very welcome to get to know our dogs and kennel!
