A SHORT HISTORY OF ROYAL BORU
My name is Bettina Teir and I live in the small town of Tammisaari (Ekenäs in Swedish - which is my native language) in southern Finland.
I grew up with dogs and have owned dogs all my life. I am an ecucated obedience instructor.
The name Royal Boru is Irish and comes from the Irish tradition. Boru was a giant who became king. I have owned two Irish Wolfdogs.
My breeding philosophy
The main idea in my breeding is to preserve the breed type that is described in the breed standard. To me, a Minpin is a Minpin, not a Dobermann. I breed for quality, not quantity.
I breed only from healthy stock with good temperaments. Careful planning is part of the breeding. I enjoy the excitement - sometimes you are lucky and get excellent results, sometimes not.
